?? While exploring Hai Phong for the last few days, I happened to notice one special Chinese restaurant called "大姐水饺“ - Big Sister Dumpings - written in giant Chinese characters. I was somewhat skeptical. I've had a lot of Chinese food in Vietnam, and it's often a big letdown. Still, I wanted to give it a try. Little did I know I'd end up finding the best, most authentic northeastern (东北) Chinese food I've ever had outside of China. Not only that, I got to speak in Mandarin with the staff there - some Vietnamese, some Chinese. They shocked me even more when they switched to English and started talking. This may have been the most linguistically-diverse restaurant I've ever visited in northern Vietnam. A fun one for sure. Hope you enjoy!
The address of the restaurant is: 12 Văn Cao, Đằng Giang, Ngô Quyền, Hải Phòng, Vietnam. Definitely visit if you're in Hai Phong!
